Landscapes [1] [2] [new]

When I paint landscapes, my painting tells of the moment.  I usually paint on site, in the fog or the sun, with the breeze in my hair.  Whether it is capturing the golden light on a sycamore in autumn or the blazing splash of orange finding its way from my mind to the paper, I long to portray the places no one else has seen.  I want to lead the viewer there.  These are my places, inspired by nature, and born of my interpretation. - Sarah Willman Grote
